Healthy Dinner Recipes Chicken


  • Chicken breasts or tenders
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 green pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 112   onion
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • egg noodles
  • 1 pkg fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4   cup sour cream
  • 14 ounce can of diced seasoned tomatoes


  1. Season the chicken with paprika, salt & pepper.
  2. Saute the chicken in a little oil until browned & set aside.
  3. Saute the mushrooms in half oil & half margarine first, a little at a time, until browned (a hint when cooking mushro oms is to always be able to see the bottom of the pan…this will keep you from steaming your mushrooms); set aside.
  4. Saute the green pepper, onion & garlic until soft.
  5. Add the chicken, mushrooms & tomatoes & simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile cook your egg noodles.
  7. When ready to serve, add sour cream to pan & mix well.
  8. Serve over egg noodles.
