This is a favorite recipe for my guys. They can easily make it themselves or I make it when I make homemade chili. Rich and hearty and full of protein!
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes
2 (15 ounce) chili beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 lb. Ground beef
1 small onion chopped
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic
Brown ground beef in large saucepan, drain.
Add onion and sauté for 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and heat through.
Put chili in bowl and top with fried egg and a sprinkle of cheese.
*Can use canned chili, and top with sour cream, or onions.
